Named One Of The 10 Great Fitness Blogs For Moms
Hello, my name is Amber. I like to think of myself as a hippy mom because of my “natural tendencies” as some would say. HippyFitMom is me…
I am an multimedia entrepreneur, military spouse and mother of two. I am trying to find balance in this beautiful life as a wife, a mother, and everything in between while staying fit and healthy. I am a media and content creator. I love to host/present, create interesting content and media.
I am also the host of The Hip Spot With HippyFitMom. The Hip Spot is fun and awesome conversations with amazing people. This show is to motivate others to be their best selves, while leading healthy and fit lives. Not only that…it is a fun break from the responsibilities and seriousness of our busy lives.
The program will include:

- Spotlight Product of the Week – As busy individuals in our fast-paced society, we need awesome products to make our lives a little easier
Join me in the conversation by calling in and tweeting me @hippyfitmom! I want to shout you out in my episodes :)
I also produce, write and host HippyFitMom – The Skinny on YouTube. The Skinny Episodes are video interviews and conversations with fitness and health/fitness enthusiasts as well as other women making a stamp in their industry.
I am a military spouse and mother, which are in my opinion, some of the most fulfilling jobs you can have in this world. However, they can also be the most difficult at times. There are countless times, as a wife and mother, you might feel that your job is to take care of everyone else which might lead you to wonder, “Who is there to take care of me?” I am not ashamed to say that that question crosses my mind ALL the time. It is so different from when I was dating my now husband. I was the baby that was taken care all the time…..ahh that was nice! The memories of being wined and dined, foot rubs, massages, flowers and candies “just because” or just spending time with the other person and staring into each other eyes. Ahh the memories! But I digress, keeping a good balance between kids, the hubby, work and yourself is challenging like I said before, but it can be done. You might be wondering “how?”. Well I am hoping to answer that question with this site. I wanted to create a site that can offer mothers and wives like me hope. A site that can be a good tool for advice and conversations for the situations and thoughts that we as mothers, wives and daughters go through.
